Geotrack Force (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a premium product of Software Shark Tech Pvt Ltd. We respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application, Geotrack Force (package name: com.traccer.client) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our services.
Important for Google Play: This policy is publicly accessible, not password protected, not a PDF, and does not trigger file downloads. It matches and supplements the disclosures in our Data safety form in Google Play Console.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Location Information
- Precise location (GPS & network): Collected in the foreground and, with your permission, in the background to power real‑time tracking, trip history, geofencing and safety features.
- Background collection: If you grant “Allow all the time” location permission, the app may collect location even when closed or not in active use to enable continuous tracking required by your organization or account settings.
1.2 Account & Profile
- Name, phone number, email, company/vehicle identifiers, and other details you or your organization provide when creating or managing an account.
1.3 Device & App Info
- Device model, OS version, app version, IP address, language, time zone, mobile network, and identifiers (e.g., instance IDs).
- Crash, diagnostics, and performance data to identify and fix bugs and improve reliability.
1.4 Usage Data
- Interactions with app features (e.g., start/stop tracking, map views), timestamps, and configuration preferences.
2. How We Use Data
- Provide core services such as live location tracking, trip history, and alerts.
- Enable business/organizational fleet and workforce features configured by your admin.
- Improve, monitor, and secure the app (including analytics, debugging, and preventing abuse).
- Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data.
- You control sharing: Depending on your account type, you or your organization may share your location with selected viewers (e.g., dispatchers, admins).
- Service providers: We use third parties (e.g., cloud hosting, crash reporting, maps) that process data under contract and only as instructed by us.
- Legal, safety, and security: We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, prevent harm, or investigate misuse.
4. Your Choices & Controls
- Permissions: You can change location and other permissions in Android Settings at any time. Restricting permissions may limit functionality.
- Account & data deletion: Email us at support@geotrack.com to request deletion of your account and associated data. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law.
- Access & correction: You may request a copy of your data or corrections by contacting us.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Fleet/enterprise admins may control retention periods for certain data (e.g., trip history).
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve our protections.
7. Children’s Privacy
Geotrack Force is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross‑border data transfers.
9. Lawful Bases (GDPR/EEA)
For users in the EEA/UK, we process personal data on the following bases: (i) performance of a contract (to provide the app), (ii) legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement), (iii) consent (e.g., background location), and (iv) compliance with legal obligations.

Appendix A – Android Permissions
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Precise and approximate location for live tracking and history.
- ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION: Background location to enable continuous tracking when the app is not in use (only if granted).
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION: Runs a persistent foreground service to maintain reliable tracking.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Optional notifications for tracking status and alerts (Android 13+).
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Sends location updates to the server.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Optionally restarts services after device reboot, if enabled.
Note: Your exact permission list may vary by app version. The purpose statements above are consistent with Google Play disclosure expectations.
